Humility first
It is Fairway’s first core value and the reason the numbers on this site all come with a source. A record is something you show, not something you say.
#1 at Fairway nationwide · 2025#1 in Minnesota · Modex · 2025
Oliver White is Fairway Home Mortgage’s top individual loan officer in the country for 2025 and Minnesota’s #1 by production volume, per Modex. He is also the person who answers your text. Eden Prairie and Wayzata, licensed in eight states.

Rankings by volume, calendar year 2025. Sources and methodology on the record page. Past production is not a promise about any individual loan.
Fairway core value #1
Every ranking on this site comes with its source and its year, because a record is something you show, not something you say. The #1 spots belong to a team of nine and to the 6,200+ families who trusted them — Oliver just gets his name on the plaque.
What the record actually means for you is simpler than the trophies: the same nine people, the same turn times, and the same phone number whether you’re financing a first condo or a lake house. Volume isn’t the goal. It’s what happens when people come back and bring their friends.
It’s not about the loans we do — it’s about the hearts we change and the people we help. The Oliver White Team

The story
A business-marketing degree from UW–River Falls, a college basketball career, and a professional contract in Lisbon, Portugal — then a flight back to the Twin Cities and a first day in financial services with nothing but the work ethic.
Every year since 2019 he’s been in the Top 1% of mortgage originators in America. In 2025 he finished #1 at Fairway nationwide. The competitive streak never left; it just found a scoreboard that helps people.
How Oliver works
It is Fairway’s first core value and the reason the numbers on this site all come with a source. A record is something you show, not something you say.
The jumbo and the first-time FHA get the same nine people, the same turn times and the same phone number.
A fast, honest answer — even when the answer is “not yet” — is how you show someone their time matters.
The mortgage is the vehicle. The family on the other side of it is the reason any of this is worth doing.
Loan programs
No rate promises, no fine-print surprises. Each program has its own page with who it’s for, what it costs, and the questions people actually ask.
The workhorse of home financing — flexible terms, competitive costs, and down payments as low as 3% for first-time buyers.
The first-time buyer favorite — 3.5% down, friendlier credit requirements, and forgiving guidelines for real-life finances.
For those who served — $0 down, no monthly mortgage insurance, and some of the strongest terms in all of lending.
$0 down for homes in eligible smaller communities — many Twin Cities exurbs qualify, and most buyers have no idea.
Financing above conforming loan limits for higher-priced homes — with the same guidance and straight answers.
Minnesota has real down payment help — Minnesota Housing programs can put thousands toward your down payment and closing costs.
Lower the payment, drop mortgage insurance, tap equity, or shorten the term — when the math works, Oliver will show you. When it doesn’t, he’ll tell you.
Most people aren’t. Text Oliver two sentences about your situation and he’ll tell you where to start.

Giving back
